Domestic Violence Truth and Support

Welcome to my blog!

Together we will navigate our journey to recovery as survivors of domestic violence. As many of you will relate, I am choosing to remain anonymous to protect myself from my abusers, but still feel it is important to get my story out there to help others. I was a victim for 18 years from two different men, and never knew it until the end of my ten year marriage (though every inch of my body was screaming for help).

My goal is to provide guidance through my stories for women (and men) to gain the confidence they need to seek help as well as offer support to those whom experienced the same horror I did. Please feel free to email me with your stories or questions anytime. I welcome your feedback as well as would enjoy hearing your stories. Stay strong!

If you need immediate help, ALWAYS dial 911.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 800-799-7233.

National Dating Abuse Helpline is 866-331-9474 or text “loveis” to 22522

Note: I am not a licensed medical clinician or therapist. Please seek professional medical advice and/or counseling with your local doctor.
